Sea turtles
Sea turtles live in sea water.
When a turtle needs air, he rises above sea level, and dives right back down.
Sea turtles swim around with fins.
The male Sea turtle spends all of his life in the water, and the female goes on land to lay eggs.
She stays away from the sea, because salt water can damage her delicate eggshells.
When the female finds a suitable place on the beach, she begins to prepare a nest for her eggs.
She lays over a hundred eggs in her nest. Each egg is the size of a ping pong ball.
She then covers the nest with sand and returns to the sea.
The sun warms the eggs and baby Sea turtles hatch two months later.
They leave the nest at night and crawl into the sea.
